Prashant has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry including 17 years in the insurance industry. Prashant has worked for some of the largest global insurers like Liberty Mutual, a company with $44 billion in Revenue and $146 billion in Assets, as well as Aviva, a company with $64 billion in Revenue and $660 billion in Assets. At Liberty he worked as Deputy Group Head of M&A and prior to that as Vice President & General Manager of Strategy & Business Development. He co-developed and executed Liberty’s international growth strategy in consultation with Liberty’s leadership team (CEO, CFO and SBU President). For Liberty he led the evaluation of 150+ M&A deals ranging from $50M–$13B across the globe (North America, Europe, Asia and LatAm) and was instrumental in the company's successful global expansion through M&A, greenfield start-ups and joint ventures. Prashant also has significant operational experience having managed Liberty’s Polish operation with a workforce of 600 people. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Liberty’s subsidiary in Malaysia. After Liberty Mutual Prashant joined Aviva, UK as Head of Function, Strategic Investments which included evaluation and venture funding of early stage insurtech startups. Since moving back to Boston in 2019 Prashant been working as an independent consultant to startups in various industries.

Prashant has an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX and Chartered Accountancy Certification (foreign equivalent of CPA).
